John McGinley

John McGinley has been in the banking and finance industry for over 15 years. Starting off as a novice stockbroker in Sydney, he decided to concentrate on international finance moving to Europe in the mid 90s, basing himself in both London and Amsterdam.

Mlop Tapang.orgWhile holidaying in Cambodia in 2003, John witnessed a horrific paedophile incident with one of the street children he had befriended on the beach of Sihanoukville that would change his world forever. Unable to rid his mind of this heinous event upon returning to Europe, he gave up his career to return to Cambodia determined to assist in developing alternatives for vulnerable and desperate street children. With his finance experience in hand, alongside other concerned residents of Sihanoukville together they established M'Lop Tapang, an organization which helps thousands of children and families in the Sihanoukville area receive an education, training, resources and opportunities for a better life while employing over 150 locals.

John resides in Phnom Penh with his family and continues to work in the banking industry.

Camille Hardman

Camille Hardman has worked as a cinematographer, director and producer of documentaries for over 15 years. Her interest in the plight of Cambodian children first arose from a story she heard about her childhood family friend John McGinley, and the milestones he had achieved in ridding paedophilia from the streets of coastal Sihanoukville.

Camille's most recent documentary Big Dreamers screened at over 25 festivals worldwide including SILVERDOCS, as well as being shown on Documentary Channel USA, ABC TV Australia, QANTAS Inflight Entertainment, and Australia Network throughout Asia. Camille also received the Award of Excellence in Cinematography from The Accolade Awards.

Camille divides her time between Australia and Los Angeles where she is a producer for The Wolper Organization - a prestigious Hollywood company established over 50 years ago by the acclaimed producer David L Wolper.
